WowKnowing this was Chuck Black I went a little nervous I've always felt that Chuck's writing style was a little low Mostly because I'm a writer myself and expect certain things when reading booksBut this was VERY well done Much better than any other he's done so far Note I have not read his third seriesThe allegory was in my opinion better done than his Kingdom and Knight series and I appreciated it very muchGreat sci fi elements

Overall it was an enjoyable read I am naturally an avid reader but I guess it's still a good sign that I finished it within 24 hours Chuck's allegories and symbolism seemed much improved and as a whole the story seemed much better developed than his other works have been in the past As a writer myself I'm very nit picky about writing style and unfortunately the uality wasn't the best I've noticed this in his other books as well though it seemed to improve as the story progressedStill I'm looking forward to the next book and am interested to find out what's in store for us next
