I found the first part of the book with the action mainly based in London a really good edge of the seat thriller The main character Raglan is an ex Legionaire who is called in by M16 when a British bankerM16 agent is kidnappedWhat follows is a very well written story of the against the clock hunt for the bankerIt's only when the action moves to Russia that the very high standard drops and it's not really a uality drop My main criticism is that the conclusion seems to be rushed and leaves an unsatisfactory ending to what was a very good readHence the 3 rather than 4
