It would be tremendously difficult to appreciate this book if you like me are from a background in mathematics andot data science Many conclusions theories and thought experiments in this book will appear outright ridiculous impossible or even outrageous But there are golden Nuggets of knowledge where you won't only agree with what the author is saying but also would feel you've experienced the same phenomena Author tries clubbing several human behaviors under this umbrella term call alchemy which seems like a stretch at times My recommendation is even if first ten percent of book seems little less palatable do read it till the end because at times it's fun to read an opposing point of view If nothing else I found the book entertaining and small chapters enabled uick readingPS I read this book because I had watched Rory Sutherland's Ted Talk some time back which was fairly impressive You may want to look him up on YouTube

This book is 5 stars with a clause When i found out Mr Rory Sutherland was releasing a second book i made the impulsive decision to preorder immediately the next book in what i assumed to be his ‘alchemy series’ following on from an insightful first bookI’m sure that those of you have been led here or if even reading this are well aware of Mr Sutherland genius and his illogical marketing magic Well don't judge a book by its cover as this book is identical to the first book being a uk edition which i only found out upon reading the publishing small print on the inner pages obviously catering to his ‘significant’ US demographic hahaIt really does not makes sense to me but i wouldn't expect anything less from a ‘non sensical’ thinker Mr Sutherland marketing extraordinaire i’m sure well aware of this slight of hand Well done sir i fell pray to your dark arts I wouldn’t class myself as someone to miss a detail but the detail was not there to be missed I’m humbled and for the sheer geniusaudacity of it you can keep my money Still a loving fan but i will unfortunately not be buying the next edition out next month
