Ok tells the story of one of America's icons in an entertaining conversational way that works well for the youngest nonfiction readers those who aren't uite ready for the Who Was series Each book focuses on a particular character trait that made that role model heroic For example Amelia Earhart refused to accept no for an answer she dared to do what no on. This is a lovely book I bought it for a relative who shares the same name I'm an aviation fanatic so I thought this was apt Beautifully illustrated and the way in which it's written would really appeal to a younger audience The book itself feels good uality makes a great read but it avoids typical 'textbook' styles and reads like a story to keep you engaged Great book for kids

I am Amelia Earhart Ordinary People Change the WorldWe can all be heroes That's the inspiring message of this lively collectible picture I am Epubbook biography series from New York Times bestselling author Brad Meltzer Kids always search for heroes so we might as well have a say in it Brad Meltzer realized and so he envisioned this friendly fun approach to biography for his own kids and for yours Each bo. Brilliant book for both children and parents Our 8 year old daughter may be on the top end of the primary target audience but she loves reading collects books in general and is intrigued by female role models she is uite well served by the past few year’s trend to cover this topic extensively So she already has knowledge about Amelia from her other books on female heroines But none of these books is as attractively presented as this one The hard bound book is beautifully and colourfully illustrated And the storyline is to the point; don’t accept no if you have a passionI found it somewhat on the expensive side but I couldn’t resist buying it And its simply well worth the investment We might buy a few in this range of books that mostly addresses American ‘heroes’ Would be great to have series focussed on international characters
